How YourCA works, step by step.

How do I customise my dash?

  1. Claimed, not yet paid is everything you claimed on this job, less everything you recorded as received, month by month.
  2. Claimed against paid draws the two running totals. The gap between the lines is what is still unpaid.
  3. Still to claim is the contract value, less what you claimed, month by month.
  4. Owed, by how late sorts what you are owed by how many days past due each claim is. The total across all your jobs is under it.
  5. How fast the builder pays shows the days each paid claim took against the days your contract allows.
  6. Variations waiting on approval splits what the builder has not approved yet by how long it has waited.
  7. RFIs past their answer date lists each overdue RFI by days late.
  8. Crew tickets running out marks every ticket that expires in the next 30 days.
  9. Deliveries at risk shows each item that you must order soon, from its order-by day to its on-site day.
  10. Closing in the next 30 days puts every amount you can still claim on the day the contract stops you claiming it. It is red inside a week.
  11. Hold and witness points shows each unsigned point on the day it falls due. A late point shows on today.
  12. Crew hours this week shows what your crew clocked against what you rostered.
  13. Retention held is what the builder still holds and when each half is due back. The total across all your jobs is under it.
  14. Hover over a chart to read any point. On a phone, press the chart. A link on the title line of each card opens the screen the figures come from. That screen shows the same figures.
  15. Press Customise at the top of the Dash. On a phone, Customise is at the foot of the Dash. Every block, charts and the rest of the page, becomes a row. Drag a row to a new place, or move it with its arrows.
  16. Press Hide to take a block off. What you hid waits under the rows, with a button to bring it back. Press Done when you finish. Or press Put back the standard layout to start again.
  17. A new account starts with five charts hidden: How fast the builder pays, RFIs past their answer date, Crew hours this week, Crew tickets running out and Deliveries at risk. So the Dash opens on the eight charts about what you are owed and what falls due.
  18. Press All projects on the switch at the top of the Dash. On a phone, the switch is in the panel behind the Tabs slot. The charts then show your whole business, not one job.
  19. They show everything owed by how late, who owes it by builder, and what is coming in. They show every window closing in the next 30 days, and the retention held on every job with the next releases due back.
  20. They also show how fast each builder pays, every RFI past its answer date, and every crew ticket running out.
  21. Each chart groups by builder or by date, not by job. Its link opens the same view under Reports, with every job in it.
  22. The All projects view has its own layout under Customise. When you arrange it, no chart moves on your Dash for one job.
  23. YourCA saves your layout to your account, so it is the same on your phone and your desk. It is yours alone: each person in the business arranges their own. On the demonstration account, YourCA keeps it in that browser only.
  24. A chart only appears when this job has data for it. A job with no served claims has no financial charts. A job with nobody rostered has no hours chart.
  25. YourCA never offers a chart from a part of the job your role cannot open. Hiding a chart never changes what you are allowed to see.
