How do I see how many hours we worked?
- Open Reports. Press Labour, then Hours worked.
- Set the dates in the dropdown on the right of the row that lists the four readings. The labour cost readings beside it use the same range.
- A range of ten weeks or less is drawn one day at a time. A longer range is drawn one week at a time, because nobody can read a chart with three hundred bars.
- Days nobody worked show as empty columns. YourCA does not leave them out. You can see the weekends and the shutdowns, and the chart does not close the gap to show a rhythm you never worked.
- The table under the chart lists every day that had hours, with its shifts and its cost. To see those hours as wages and super for a pay period, use Pay on the Schedule tab.
- Across all projects, it shows every job at once.
- To see one job, press the job's own name beside All projects on the band. On a phone, it is in the panel that the Tabs button opens. Or use the row above the four readings to narrow to one job or one person without leaving the report.
Worth knowing
Hours are what somebody recorded on the clock, less their break. A shift that nobody clocked off has no hours yet. It adds nothing, not a guess. The line under the figures counts it, so you can fix it. A corrected shift counts once: YourCA drops the record it replaced. The estimated labour beside each day is hours times a rate. It is not payroll, and none of it leaves your account.
