How YourCA works, step by step.

How do I open the builder programme?

  1. Open Schedule and press Programme on the band. It opens on The programme, which is the builder file drawn on the page. The line under the band names the revision you are looking at.
  2. It draws page by page, with zoom and a page jump.
  3. Download saves it under the name it arrived with. If the register only recorded who sent it, Download uses the document's own name and file type.
  4. An earlier revision opens over the page from its row under Every revision. It says across the top that it is superseded, and by what.
  5. The same file is on the Documents tab as a programme, because YourCA files everything the builder sent there. It is one document, not a second copy. Each reissue supersedes the one before it there.
  6. Some revisions were read before YourCA kept files, and some files were removed later. Such a revision says so, and does not offer the button. YourCA keeps the dates either way, so the record survives when a file is deleted.
  7. Anyone who can see the Schedule tab can open it. Reading in a programme is a separate permission. The owner, the office and a project manager have it.
Worth knowing

What you open is the builder plan, not your contract. Nothing on it sets a claim date, a notice date or any entitlement, however firm the bars look.
