How do I see an earlier version of the builder programme?
- Open Schedule. Press Programme on the band, then Every revision.
- It shows every reissue you ever put in, newest first. Each row shows what the builder called it, the date it was issued and the date it reached you.
- A row opens two different things and says which is which. Open the file is the builder document itself, drawn in YourCA.
- What this revision said is the record YourCA built from the file. It shows the activities that were yours on that revision with their dates, and what moved when it arrived.
- When you open the file of a superseded revision, it says so across the top, with what replaced it and when. This list exists so that nobody reads an old programme and thinks it is the current one.
- Some revisions were read before YourCA kept files, and some files were removed later. The row of such a revision says so. It does not offer a button that refuses. The dates stay on purpose, so you never lose the record with the file.
- The current revision does not open its own record, because the rest of the tab already shows it. Its file is on The programme, where Programme opens.
- Twelve months later, that is the whole argument. That is why nothing replaces a revision. YourCA adds a new reissue and does not overwrite the old one.
- An earlier revision is a record, not a working screen. You can only claim an activity or set one aside on the current revision, because that decision is about the programme you are on now.
- The dates on an earlier revision are the dates that revision carried. YourCA does not work them out again against today.
Worth knowing
Two facts decide a delay argument: the day the builder issued a revision and the day it reached you. Nobody writes them down. YourCA asks for both before it reads the file, so enter them while you still know them.
