How do I get back what I was typing?
What it does today
It covers a new variation, a new request for information and a new delay on the diary. The phone capture sheet already kept its own words. Other forms do not keep a copy yet. Words left for more than a fortnight are deleted.
- Start the form as usual. The device keeps what you type as you type it.
- Come back to the same form on the same job. It opens with your words in it.
- A line says you started it earlier, and that nothing is saved yet.
- Press Start again to discard those words. Or continue and record it.
- After you record it, the device forgets the kept copy.
Worth knowing
The words stay on the device you typed them on. They are cleared when you sign out. They are not on your account until you press record. So nobody else can see them, and another phone does not have them.
