How do I get a weekly summary of my jobs?
- Open Settings, then Notifications. At the foot of that section is a card called Monday email.
- The card has the switch Include what I am owed. It is on for the account owner until they turn it off. It is off for everybody else until they turn it on.
- It is your own choice, and it changes nothing for anybody else on the account.
- Press Preview on the same card. It opens, as a page, exactly what the email would say if it went now.
- Press Send to me now to send it to your own address straight away. You do not need to wait until Monday to see it. On the demonstration account it opens the email instead, and nothing is sent.
- From then on, your Monday email has a second part called What you are owed, under the first part, Falling due this week. It comes at the hour you picked under Your morning email. It is one email, not two.
- Every job you run is a section, worst first. Worst means the largest amount past its due date.
- Each part has its own switch. If you turn off the row Monday email: what falls due this week, in the list above the card, you get What you are owed alone. With both off, no Monday email is sent.
- If you set How often under Your morning email to Never, that stops the Monday email too.
- A week with nothing late, nothing due and nothing moved still gets the Monday email, as one line. So you know YourCA is still watching.
- Each section starts with what is past its due date and how old the oldest amount is. Then it shows what you are owed on that job in total, then anything falling due in the next seven days.
- Last, it shows what moved: claims served, payment schedules that came back and what they cut, payments that arrived, and variations approved.
- YourCA guesses nothing in it. It counts and names separately a claim with no payment due date, because nobody can say whether it is late.
- If YourCA has not worked out the release dates for some retention, it shows the real amount with the reason beside it and the one item that would date it. It never shows it as nothing.
- To stop it, turn the same switch off. Your Monday email still carries what falls due, unless you turn that off too.
- Setting Your morning email to Never stops the whole Monday email, this part too. So if you want this part, leave that setting on Every morning or Mondays only.
Worth knowing
It goes to your own address and nowhere else. Nothing in it goes to your builder. Turning it on does not serve, transmit or notify anybody of anything.
