How YourCA works, step by step.

What does the assistant see?

  1. On a computer, open the assistant with Ask, the pill in the bottom right corner of every screen, including your account screens.
  2. Until you open the assistant once on that browser, the pill lights up once a day, about twenty seconds after you arrive, so you can find it.
  3. Guide, in the menu down the left, has these same written answers, set out as a manual.
  4. On a phone, the pill does not show, because it would cover what you read. Press Ask YCA, the round button at the top right of the screen.
  5. The assistant reads every figure it gives you live from this job, through your own account and your own permissions. If you cannot see it, the assistant cannot either.
  6. The assistant never works out a figure or a statutory date itself. If YourCA cannot work one out, the assistant tells you the reason. It does not estimate.
  7. The assistant never answers anything about who was on site, where anybody was, or the hours they worked. Those records never come near it.
  8. The assistant only looks at the job you are on. A company administrator can ask across the business.
  9. If the assistant does not have a written answer, it says so. It offers to send your question to a person at YourCA, and it does not guess at a process.
  10. Ask for a person at any point. Email a person opens a draft to us in your own email.
  11. On the demonstration account, it opens a draft in your own email instead, because everybody who looks at the preview shares that sign in.
