How YourCA works, step by step.

Where does my forwarded email go?

  1. The service that receives mail for us has no Australian region. That is the honest position, and it is why we state it here.
  2. YourCA pulls in the message and its attachments quickly, and stores them in Sydney with everything else on the job. That makes the time when the only copy is offshore shorter. It does not remove the offshore copy.
  3. That service gives us no way to delete a received message. So their own retention decides how long their copy lives, not ours.
  4. Nothing else moves. Anything you upload yourself, every document YourCA produces and the whole database stay in Australia, as they always have.
  5. When you open one of these emails, YourCA reads it. That reading runs on the same model path as the contract review. It is the one path of the platform, and it adds nothing new to the above. But know that the message reaches it.
  6. If this matters for a job, do not CC or forward to its address. Upload the document or paste the reply instead. Then nothing about it ever leaves the country.
