How YourCA works, step by step.

Is there a limit on questions?

  1. Most of what people ask the assistant never counts against it.
  2. The written answers are held in the app and matched in your own browser. So they are instant, they cost nothing, and the limit does not affect them.
  3. If you ask the assistant to set your business up, add a person to your crew or start a job, that never counts against it either. None of these uses a model, so they work exactly as before.
  4. If you send your question to a person at YourCA, that never counts against it. That is always available.
  5. The same allowance covers the places YourCA reads something for you, not answers you.
  6. These are: the risk brief on a job, reading a safe work method statement or a certificate you drop in, and the chase Procurement drafts to a supplier.
  7. It is one allowance for all of it, not a second one. So a busy morning of dropping in documents uses the same allowance as a busy morning of questions to the assistant.
  8. Reading an email forwarded to the job, and comparing a drawing against the set you priced from, each have their own daily limit instead.
  9. They keep working while this allowance is used up. They stop only when their own daily limit is used.
  10. The allowance grows with the jobs you have running that have real work on them. So a business with more work gets more.
  11. There are two windows: one for the day and one for the month. The daily one comes back during the day, so a busy morning does not cost you the afternoon.
  12. The risk brief on a job also refreshes automatically, once a week and again on the day something slips.
  13. While you are at the limit, YourCA skips that refresh, so it does not go ahead of what you asked for. The brief on screen is the last one written, and it shows its date.
  14. When you are back inside the limit, press refresh to write a new one.
  15. The monthly window grows with every job you have running with real work on it. The daily window is a share of that.
  16. If your business needs more than the allowance covers, write to admin@yourca.ai, and we can sort it out with you.
Worth knowing

An account that is not on a current plan gets the smallest allowance, whatever it runs. This includes an account whose plan has lapsed. An account with only a job or two on it also gets the smallest allowance. In both cases, you can still read and export everything already on your jobs.
