What do I need before I start on site?

1. Prestart holds the safe work method statement, your certificates of currency, your licences and the signed work order.
2. The pack names the safe work method statement and its sign-on record. It also names your certificates, your licences and the work order. The statement is kept on your account, not in this browser. After you issue it, the checklist and the contents page both show it as held. A statement in draft shows as a draft, because you do not give a draft to a builder.
3. The contents page on the screen is live. It shows what a pack made now would say, and it names what is still missing.
4. On Prestart's row, Pack comes after the sections that feed it. Engaged comes after Pack.
5. While a line is missing or needs attention, Prestart opens on the first section with something to fix.
6. Use Back and Next at the foot of each section to go through SWMS, Insurances, Work order and Company library, in that order. Each section shows how many lines are still to fix.
7. The last step is Pack. It lists each of those sections as Done, or with what is left, and has Open beside each. It also has Download the contents page.
8. A draft safe work method statement goes through its own parts first, and ends when you issue it. Lines you take off and documents you add by hand are never steps.
9. Press Download the contents page. It lists what is in the pack and what is missing, and YourCA keeps the pack. What you sent stays exactly as you sent it, and you can download it again as a PDF or a Word file.
10. YourCA asks nothing first, even if lines are missing, because the contents page names them.
11. The pack holds the version of each company document it carried. If you renew a certificate tomorrow, every future pack changes. No pack you already sent changes.
12. Each line on Pack has Take it off beside it, and Put it back after it is off. Use it for a cover this builder never asked about, or a licence that has no relation to this job. The choice stays on your account, so the office sees what you decide on site.
13. Add a document to this pack adds a form that only this builder wants, such as their own signed induction sheet. Give it a name and drop the file. It goes on this job's pack.
14. A licence, a policy or a certificate your business holds ONCE belongs in your company library. When you renew it there, every future pack on every job changes. A document you add on the pack is on this job only.
