How YourCA works, step by step.

How do I fill in our SWMS form?

  1. Open Company admin, Company library, then SWMS templates. Add your own SWMS or form as a PDF. A company administrator does this once.
  2. On a job, open Prestart, then SWMS. On a job with no statement yet, open Your template. On a job that already has one, open Templates.
  3. Pick the template from the SWMS template list, then press Fill it in. The form opens on the full window.
  4. Press Add text, Add a date, Add a tick or Add a signature, then press the spot on the page. Add as many as the form needs. Drag a box to move it, and press it to change what it says or its size.
  5. Press Save to the pack. The filled PDF goes on this job and into the prestart pack, with the crew sign-on sheet at the back unless you untick it.
  6. The next job on the same template opens with the boxes in the same places, empty, so you fill in only the words.
  7. To change it after you save, press the pencil. That saves a new revision, so the crew signs on again.
  8. YourCA keeps no standard statements of its own for you to use. Your method is your template, or a statement you copy from another job with Copy one.
Worth knowing

YourCA fills in the boxes you place and nothing else. It does not read your template or check it, so it gets no readiness list and no high risk construction work questions. Your business answers for what the form says. Only a PDF can be a template.
