How YourCA works, step by step.

Why did my claim reminder change?

  1. The claim-day reminder still fires the same way. It starts three days before a claim reaches its reference date, and fires once a day.
  2. It continues for a week after the date passes. Then it stops, so it does not chase a claim you abandoned.
  3. It now says more. If YourCA can read the claim as it is today, the reminder adds what it comes to and how many approved variations are in that total.
  4. It also adds how much retention the claim holds, and whether your declaration is filled in.
  5. If YourCA cannot read a figure, it leaves the figure out. It does not show it as zero. If a reminder says nothing about retention, the claim has none that YourCA could confirm. It does not mean none is held.
  6. YourCA reads the figures each time the reminder fires, from the claim as it is at that moment. It never uses figures from an earlier day.
Worth knowing

This is a READ. Seeing the figure writes nothing to the claim. If a reference date turns out wrong, a background task never serves a wrong figure because of it.
