How do I see who approved a variation?
- Open the job, go to Financials and find the variations register.
- The Approved column shows the figure the builder agreed. If YourCA knows, under it you see Recorded by and the name of the person here who wrote it down.
- If you gave their approval reference when you recorded it, your claim prints it beside the variation, as approval and the number.
Worth knowing
A blank is only a blank, not an accusation. Three ordinary things cause one: the approval is older than this record, nobody has approved the variation, or the person who recorded it no longer has a login. To name your only administrator in those cases would be a guess, in the exact argument this exists to settle.
