How YourCA works, step by step.

How do I attach a file to a variation?

  1. Open Financials, then Variations.
  2. On a new variation, press Add a variation. Under Files that back it, press Add files. Choose the email, photos or sketch from this computer, or tick ones the job already holds, such as a site photo or a drawing. Then press Attach.
  3. On a variation you already have, press More, the three dots at the end of its row, then Edit the details. Press Add files under Files that back it. Each file goes on as soon as it uploads.
  4. You can add a file at any stage, because evidence keeps arriving after the builder has the variation.
  5. To see them, press the row. It opens under itself, and Files lists each one.
  6. Press Open this file to read it, or Download this file to keep a copy.
  7. Photos filed against the variation in Site, Photos show under Site photos when the row opens. Press one to see it full size. The camera, with the number of photos, opens its album in Site, Photos.
Worth knowing

Remove this file, the bin beside a file, works until a claim carries the variation or you withdraw it. After that the files stay, so the record behind your claim does not change.
