How YourCA works, step by step.

How do I price a variation from my rates?

  1. Keep your rates in Company admin, Rates, Variation rates.
  2. Open the variation’s More and press Price it, or Re-price it. The build-up is one line a row, like the quote page.
  3. Type in the Add a cost box under the rows. One search covers your variation rates, the contract schedule of the job and your merchant price lists, and each match says where it came from.
  4. A pick adds a row with name, unit and rate, quantity 1. Or press Enter on your own words, and the row waits for its rate. Change the quantity, then Save.
  5. The bold and bullets bar shows only on the row you are writing. What it comes to stays in view at the foot of the sheet. On a phone a row folds to its words and working until you open it.
  6. The opened variation shows its priced build-up, line by line: item, quantity, rate and amount, and what it comes to. You do not open Re-price just to read the price.
