What is a departure?
- Open the review and go to Departures on its step rail.
- Each departure names the clause and marks it More onerous, Favourable or Neutral, with a severity.
- It shows Standard beside Amended. If there is a consequence to state, it shows What it means.
- The More onerous ones are your list of things to ask for before you sign.
Worth knowing
The Standard line is a plain English summary of that form by YourCA. It is not the copyrighted words of the form. A bespoke contract has no form to compare against. The section says so, and every clause is still in the risk register.
