How YourCA works, step by step.

How do I see everything I have to order across every job?

  1. Open Procurement. Press All projects on the switch at the top of the tab. The other half of the switch names the job you are on.
  2. On a phone, the switch is in the panel behind the Tabs slot on the bottom bar.
  3. The same switch is on the Dash, Quote, Financials and Reports. It belongs to the tab you are on, so it does not widen the other tabs. Each tab remembers what you last chose on it.
  4. The address in your browser holds what you are reading. So a link you copy opens the same view for the person you send it to.
  5. The register widens to every line on every job you have. It has the same columns, the same status badges and the same order-by dates.
  6. The line above it counts what needs you today across all of them, and says how many jobs it read.
  7. Group it the way you are about to act.
  8. It opens By supplier. Use this to phone a merchant, because it shows every line you owe them across three sites at once.
  9. By job looks like the tab you came from. By section shows your own trade breakdown across jobs. By order-by week shows the buying week ahead.
  10. Search and the Filter, with its status, flag and Archived choices, work the same as on one job. So a view of nine jobs narrows the same way as a view of one.
  11. It is a view, not an editor. Open any line, and it takes you into that job with the tab narrowed back to it. The chase, the quotes, the files and the dates are there.
  12. Download, on the band, gives you the view as a file, in four formats.
  13. PDF and Word give every live order across every job as a document on your own letterhead, grouped by supplier, with the job on each line. So the sheet you show a merchant covers all three of their sites in one conversation, not three.
  14. Excel gives the same orders as a workbook with every column. CSV gives the same rows, to paste into your own sheet.
  15. On a single job, Download offers the same four formats, grouped by trade.
  16. Retention is not in that download. What a builder holds back from your claims is not a fact about what was ordered.
  17. Reports shows retention held across every job by release date, and exports it. The statement for one job is the Retention section of Financials.
  18. The file holds every job, whatever filter you use on screen. The file is the record, and a filter is only how you read it today. Archived lines are not in it.
Worth knowing

If the order schedule of one job does not load, a line at the top says so and counts them. Those lines are not in the view. They are not counted as nothing. A figure you are about to buy against is never short without the screen saying so.
