How do I raise a purchase order?
- Open Procurement and press Orders. Press Raise an order, pick the supplier and tick the items you still have to order from them. The cart on an item does the same with that item ticked.
- Raise makes a draft. Add or change its lines and prices on the opened order, then press Issue: it takes your next order number and can no longer change.
- Download it, or press "..." then Open in my email to send it from your own mail. Record the day it went, from the same "...", is your record only: YourCA sends nothing.
- When it comes, open the order and press Receive. Type how many came of each line. A short delivery stays Part received until the rest comes.
- A supplier invoice that names the order number is matched to it, under "...", Add an invoice. Margin counts the matched invoice, or the order total until one matches.
- To change an issued order, press "..." then Revise. The revision keeps the number and replaces the first issue once you issue it.
- Press All projects to see every job's orders in one list, with the job on each row.
Worth knowing
The order download shows the total ex GST, the GST and the total including GST. A reader without the financial figures sees no prices on any order.
