I have no jobs on, why am I hearing about retention?

1. Wrapping up a job costs nothing and does not close the record. Retention can run up to twelve months after practical completion.
2. Financials and Handover stay open the whole time, so you can see the retention and ask for it, at no extra cost.
3. Once a month, YourCA sends Retention still owed to you. It only does this when you have no jobs on site now and retention is still held from finished work. It shows the total across every wrapped job and which parts of it release this quarter.
4. It exists because the bell and the morning email both expect you to open the app. An account between jobs does not. This is the one message that still reaches you.
5. On the day you start a new job on site, this email stops. The claim, variation and retention rows for the new job go back to the daily bell and morning email.
