How do my guys log in?
- First, give them a site login. Open Your crew on the Schedule tab, then their row. Give the login to an email address they actually read.
- YourCA emails them an invitation, and their row says Invited. The login starts when they sign in with that address, which proves it is theirs.
- For somebody new, tick Give them a site login at the foot of the form, and the invitation goes in the same press. If you typed no email, the form asks for one.
- Send again, on their row, resends it. Withdraw the invitation, under More, takes it back before they accept.
- Then tell them to open yourca.ai and sign in, on the same page you use. There is no separate link to send, no separate app and nothing to install.
- They type that address, and an eight character code goes to it. There is no password. YourCA reads the account behind the address, so a person with a site login goes to the clock, not to your office screens. What you gave them decides what they get, not the page they opened.
- After they sign in, the phone remembers it. The next morning, the plain address takes them straight back to the clock.
- They land in the same YourCA everybody else uses, opened on the clock. There is nothing to install and no second app to explain.
- Their site login reaches: whether they are on the clock, one big Clock on or Clock off button, the job or jobs they are rostered to that day, and their own last seven days, with a way to fix a wrong time.
- Under that is the job they are on. The current drawing revision and the programme are on the face of the screen. Four buttons are big enough to hit in gloves: add a photo, sign an inspection point, open the drawings, open the programme.
- They never see your crew list, your other jobs, anything financial, or another person's hours. A site login is never an office account and never turns into one. So a person who holds one is not listed under the workspace people in Settings, and cannot be promoted there.
- Removal is immediate. Revoke the login on their row, and they are signed out on every device on their next tap, not at their next reload. Every hour they already recorded stays, because it belongs to the job, not the login.
Worth knowing
A tap in a dead spot saves on their phone and sends when signal comes back. Their screen counts anything still waiting, so they know it is not filed yet. If they lose or wipe the phone before it sends, that tap is gone, and they must add the time with Fix these times. The recorded time is what their phone sent when they tapped. That is a claim by that phone, not a proof, and the record says so on purpose.
