How YourCA works, step by step.

How do I see the changes on a board?

  1. Open the board: Takeoff or Tender walk on the Quote tab, an annotated drawing, or the markup on the Claim plan, Locations or a Defect plan.
  2. Press "..." in the tools row, then Changes. The table takes the place of the layers or the marks under the drawing, with the drag bar between.
  3. Each line says when, who, what was done (as a grey chip), the mark and its sheet. The newest is at the top. Show older changes reads further back.
  4. Pick Mine to see only your own changes. Filter narrows the table to one person, one sheet or one act.
  5. Press a line and the drawing goes to that mark and picks it. A mark since removed is drawn faint and dashed where it was, until you press another line.
  6. Download gives the table as a PDF, Word or Excel file on your letterhead.
  7. Press Back to the layers on the Takeoff, or Hide changes in "...", to put the table away.
Worth knowing

The table is a record, never a way to undo: nobody can edit or remove a line. Undo is listed as a removal or a put back. Marks pasted or copied together are one line, such as 12 marks copied from Board 1. On the Claim plan, Locations, a Defect plan and Pins it lists the markup on the sheet you have open; the zones, pins and claim areas keep their own history.
