How YourCA works, step by step.

Can YourCA act on an email by itself?

  1. Builders write instructions all day. When the words in an email ask you to do something, YourCA shows it as the sender asking.
  2. The row says The sender asks you to, in those words. It is the other party speaking, not a recommendation from us.
  3. It is shown as from the CLAIMED sender, not from a person. The name on an email is what the message says about itself, and anyone can type anything into that field. It decided nothing here.
  4. A request gets exactly the same treatment as anything else: one press, by you, signed in, on the register's own form. There is no shortcut, no higher confidence and no different route for an instruction than for a revised drawing.
  5. If the request is for a document, such as a price or something in writing, YourCA drafts it. It says plainly that it has NOT sent it. It is a draft on your own record. You send it yourself, here as everywhere else in the product.
  6. Nothing goes back to the sender either. YourCA never replies to, forwards, acknowledges or bounces an email. A builder who emails to ask for something gets nothing at all from us. They get only what you decide to send them yourself.
Worth knowing

No confidence is high enough for YourCA to act on an email by itself, and that does not change. If you ever see something on a register that you did not press for, that is a defect. Tell us about it. It is not a setting.
