How do I see which inspection points are due?
- Open Site, then ITPs. Due is the first list under the band, before Non-conformances, Plans, Templates and Fire seals. ITPs opens on Due.
- It is one list, worst first: overdue, then due now, then upcoming.
- A point is due now when it is inside its own notice period. That period is two days, unless the point says otherwise.
- Press a card to open the point and answer it there.
- Filter, on the band beside Start a plan, sets which points you see. Everything falling due is the list you see first.
- Each other choice is one state: Overdue, Due now, Waiting on somebody else, Signed off, Recorded, not signed, and Failed. Each shows its count.
- You can pick one state at a time. To go back, pick it again or press Show everything falling due above the list.
- Download, on the band beside Start a plan, gives the points still falling due, worst first. Pick a PDF to pin up in the site office, or an Excel workbook.
- It shows the plan, the point, what is inspected, the day it is due, the notice to give, who signs it and its status. It is always the list still falling due, whatever the Filter shows.
- You reach Signed off and Failed only through the Filter, because the first list shows what is still to be done.
- Recorded, not signed shows the points that somebody answered without a person's signature.
- A point you just signed stays on the list for a few seconds, showing the sign-off. Then it moves. So the card does not disappear while your thumb is on it.
- On Plans and on Non-conformances, the same Filter is in the same place and narrows those lists.
- It narrows plans by status, or to the plans with points still open. It narrows non-conformances by status, by severity, or to those past their put-right date.
Worth knowing
The Due list shows only hold and witness points that have a due date. A record point, or a point with no date, is on its plan under Plans. So a point missing from Due usually has no date.
