How YourCA works, step by step.

Why does my new job only open on quote?

  1. Your first job is free. The one plan, Complete, covers each job after it. Until you subscribe, that job waits on it.
  2. YourCA never refuses to start it. The Start a new job panel says, above its button, that this one opens on Quote.
  3. You land on its Quote tab. There you can price it, issue the quote and record where it stands, all for nothing.
  4. Every other tab on that job says it opens on this job when you subscribe. For an owner or an office administrator, it has a Subscribe button, which opens Your plan in Company admin. Anybody else is told that the person who runs your account can subscribe.
  5. To accept the quote on that job needs the subscription. An accepted quote writes the job's contract value schedule, and the job becomes real work.
  6. Without the subscription, YourCA refuses it and writes nothing. The message says that the person who runs the account subscribes under Your plan. An administrator also gets a Subscribe press on the notice that appears.
  7. When you subscribe, every tab on every job opens, including this one.
Worth knowing

Jobs you already started stay open, whatever happens to your plan. This affects only a job that nothing paid for: not the free job, and not one covered by a subscription.
