How do I move between tabs on my phone?
- The bar has five things on it. The left one is the Dash of the job you are on.
- The next one opens Where you are: every tab as a grid you see at once, then the section of the tab, the jobs it reads and the job you are on. It shows the icon of the tab you are on, so it also tells you where you are.
- The round button at the top right of the screen is Ask YCA. It opens the assistant.
- The last two are search and your account. Your account shows a dot when something waits for you.
- Press the one you are already on to go back to the top of it. That is the fastest way out of a long register, with no scroll.
- Every other tab keeps its place. Leave Financials halfway down the claims, check a date somewhere else, and come back. You are where you were, not at the top again.
- The back gesture first closes whatever is open over the screen. If the tab grid, the record sheet or a half-written note is up, swipe back or press back to put it away. You stay on the job.
- The plus button in the middle opens Record something. It has six things you can record on site: a direction on site, a photo, a diary line, an inspection point, a mark on a drawing, and a question for the builder. All six are for getting something down, not for looking something up.
- If you added YourCA to your home screen, pull down at the top of a tab to refresh it. In an ordinary browser tab, your browser already does that, so we leave it alone.
- The grid holds all twelve tabs, in the same order as the menu on a computer.
Worth knowing
On a computer, the tabs are in the menu down the left of the screen instead. The bottom bar shows only on a phone.
