How do I say which drawing an inspection point is about?
What it does today
The marks are held against the point and open from it. They do not print inside the plan you give the builder. You choose a drawing while the plan is a draft, the same as everything else on a point.
- Write or open the point on Site, then ITPs.
- While the plan is a draft, The drawing it is on offers every drawing on this job, each with its revision.
- Open the point from the due list or from its plan. If the point names a drawing, the sheet says which one. It says clearly if that revision was replaced.
- Press Show it on the drawing. The sheet opens over your screen, so you stay on the point.
- Press Pin a spot and press the plan where the point applies. Then say what you check there.
- One hold point can cover three locations. Put a mark at each of them, not one in the middle.
- Close the drawing. The point lists the marks, and you can press each one to go back to the spot.
- Sign the point as usual.
- Attach the photographs the plan asks for in step 2. Those photographs go inside the plan you give the builder.
Worth knowing
A mark stays on the revision it was made on. If the builder issues that sheet again, the point says the revision it names was replaced. If you argue a hold point from a superseded sheet, you lose the argument.
