How YourCA works, step by step.

How do I stamp a drawing?

  1. Open a drawing on any board: the Tender walk, the Takeoff, a drawing in Documents, the Claim plan, Locations or a Defect plan.
  2. Press Stamp in the tool row. Your business’s own stamps are at the top, then the built-in ones: Checked, Priced, Not in our scope, Excluded, Variation, Hold, Superseded, As built and more. Type to find one.
  3. Press on the sheet where the stamp goes. It goes down in the ink it starts in. Once it is saved, your name and the day show under the words, such as J Smith, 27 Oct 2026. Until then it says Not saved yet.
  4. To move, size or turn a stamp, pick Select and move and pick the stamp. To change its ink, pick a colour from Ink. Its words, name and day never change; to say something else, remove it and place another.
  5. To add your own words, open Company admin, then Library, then Stamps, and press Add a stamp. Type up to 24 characters and pick the ink it starts in. A business keeps up to 20 of its own.
  6. Download prints every stamp as drawn, and lists each stamp used with how many there are.
Worth knowing

Approved and Rejected are for your own drawings, such as a shop drawing. No stamp claims a standard, and YourCA never sends a stamped sheet: you download it and send it yourself.
