How YourCA works, step by step.

Can I change a file after I have sent it?

  1. While it is a draft, add and remove what you like. Nothing has gone anywhere yet.
  2. After a question is issued or a submittal is marked as sent, the builder holds the copy. YourCA refuses to change its files, and says so. It does not fail without a message.
  3. Raise a revision instead. It carries the original files forward, and you correct them on the revision.
  4. Both records stand: what was actually sent, and what replaced it.
  5. When a revision carries a file forward, the file does not upload again. The same stored copy is behind both records.
Worth knowing

A revision is the honest correction. If you delete and raise again, you lose the date the first one went. That date is half of any turnaround argument.
